Norwest have a great team with an eclectic mix of skills. Working with Tony is his support crew, Jack, Andy and Grant. Alongside them is their amazing site team of machine operators and deconstruction experts.
Tony
OWNER / DIRECTOR OF WORKS
Tony is our historian and peoples person and is well known in the industry. He’s a local with great rapport and knowledge, knows the area, the buildings and our clients. In fact, he knows the history behind pretty much every building Norwest has deconstructed and the items recovered.
Tony’s experience started at sea as a deck hand and progressed to working as a bosun and 3rd mate on oil rig supply ships spanning some 30 years. After assisting a friend with a demolition company he caught the bug and Norwest has been in operation for the past 18 years.
Grant
GENERAL MANAGER
Grant has a wealth of experience both on the tools during his days with power companies in Australia and more recently in small and large business management roles, in particular the Chamber of Commerce and the aviation and education sectors in New Zealand.
Not only is he here to provide the company direction and support, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty working with the teams on our deconstruction projects
Jack
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Jack has his finger on the pulse at Norwest and schedules our jobs, crews and ‘paper work’ for each site. Our ‘Jack of all Trades’ has experience in plastics, road marking, scaffolding and crane driving. You name it he can pretty much do it.
Andy
RETAIL / CUSTOMER SERVICE
Andy brings that smile to the face of customer service. He is a boat builder by trade and knows heaps about wood, design, estimating and building. His customer service motto is ‘first impressions count’ and rightly so.
