We carefully deconstruct, collect and re-furbish timber (such as, native floor timber), doors, windows and other character pieces. A great affordable option for builders, renovators and tiny home creators. Bring character to your home, whether it’s a villa, bungalow, art deco or new build.

Tony, owner of Norwest is well known and respected in the industry. A Nelson local with great rapport and knowledge and a genuine interest in saving as much from going straight to landfill as possible. Tony works alongside engineers, councils, architects, construction companies and developers, including a stint in Christchurch after the earthquakes. He loves his work and takes pride in deconstructing not demolishing.

Norwest has a dedicated team that possess a strong combined experience in deconstruction, ranging from basic projects to comprehensive and environmentally-sensitive endeavours that require detailed planning and execution. This expertise enables us to develop well-thought-out deconstruction methodologies tailored to the unique requirements of each project.

Additionally, we are proud to align our deconstruction projects with the Green Star philosophy, demonstrating our leadership, innovation, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in our processes and the disposal or reuse of salvaged materials. We actively separate and repurpose various materials, including scrap metal, conduit, firewood, and Gib, contributing to the circular economy and minimising waste.

Our second hand goods are sold in a ‘as is’ condition and all care is taken to describe items as accurately as possible.
Refunds will not be offered if buyer changes their mind, or if item is ‘not what you expected’.
All items must be returned to us for full assessment BEFORE a refund may be considered.
Returned Goods may incur a Re-stocking /Administration fee.
